JULY 14 4:00 – 5:00 PM: Torrance Dementia Meetup Group

The Torrance Dementia Meetup

Tuesday July 14 from 4 to 5 PM
at Welbrook Senior Living
3210 Sepulveda Blvd
Torrance, CA 90505

The Torrance Dementia Meetup is a group for anyone caring for someone with dementia. Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or other dementia can be extremely confusing and demanding. Most people experience “caregiver burn out” due to the chronic high levels of stress and strain on the family. Talking with others who are also caring for loved ones with memory loss and other symptoms that accompany dementia and Alzheimer’s disease can help. Join us to share what you’ve experienced, learn from others, and most importantly, develop friendships and support.

Knowing when to get professional help for Elderly Parents

There are many professionals available to help families manage their parents care. The key is to identify the level of help required, this can be as little as getting help in the home from a caregiver or hiring a professional care manager who completely takes over the care management functions and reports to all siblings.

If you or someone you know needs senior care, I’m available 24/7 at 310.383.1877 or GiftedByAge@gmail.com
